It was a pleasure meeting with all of you for conferences these last few weeks. There is so much growth and development to celebrate with these kindergarten students.
Please ask your child to tell you about our author visit today. JoAnn Adinolfi was great! She lives right in Portsmouth. We were lucky to see her art, watch her draw and learn about where she gets her story ideas.
Progress Reports were sent home today to report attendance. Conferences replace grades this quarter. I only printed one side of the progress report in an effort to conserve ink. Please sign and return the envelope as soon as you can. Thank you.
We are working to determine the last day of kindergarten and will get the date to you ASAP. We end the school year a few days earlier than the rest of SMS to allow time to screen the in-coming kindergarten students.
